I think the default for A4 layout is 15mm from the top and I changed it...

Re: Meter refuses to be hidden

Curiouser and curiouser...

I tried adding more measures to make a total of 18 and voila, the meter in measure 9 now hides. But... it has transferred the problem to the last measure where the meter...

He should be ok as I've still got a good supply (at the moment). :D

Hello,

Tearing my hair out over this...

I have created a final measure (3/4) in this tune to make up for the upbeat measure (1/4). I have following the user guide to step 7 where I have split...

Re: Staff Repeat not Working V2.6

Thanks very much David. Yes, I pretty much figured it out just after I sent the post - haven't used NC for awhile.

I use Free Text as I can then position the title on the printed page where I want...

Re: Staff Repeat not Working V2.6

Well I've answered the first part myself - forgot about the start repeat! :o

Even so I don't recall seeing start repeats in normal notation. Is it just left out for convenience?

Anyway I would...

Staff Repeat not Working V2.6

Hello again,

I have a tune here which completely ignores the staff repeat at bar 8. The file was originally created in 2.5 but the repeat has been added since 2.6. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Measure Numbers for Repeat Staff Endings

Well you've worked your magic again Sherry because it plays now! :) Before when I hit the "Play" arrow (cursor at the start) nothing happened. Maybe it's just my slow old computer!? :(

Yes it was indeed the "Specify number of bars" dialog but I see there's a steeper learning curve here for me than I thought. :o Systems as such are new to me so I had never tried to use the "Insert...

Question Re: Measure Numbers for Repeat Staff Endings

Well I've used a recovery file with measure numbers starting at 1 again. But no way can I change the score so that line 3 has 4 bars for measures 10-13, and so on. It's bizarre - if I try to set it...

Measure Numbers for Repeat Staff Endings

Hello again,

I have a tune which in part A has 1. & 2. repeat endings. NC gives each of these a separate measure number. In several of the sheet music books I have, this does not happen - each is...

Re: Add Measures Problem

Thanks Sherry,

I did what you suggested and of course it worked fine.

Some background... I scanned a piano score sheet and converted it to a midi file which I then imported to NC. I then...

Thanks Sherry,

The program opened in a reasonably short time.

Re: No Sound on Playback

Well for no obvious reason the problem has resolved itself. I think there had been a massive delay before the tune would play such that rather than there being no sound it was just taking ages to...
