Hi Sherry,
Thanks very much for the prompt reply.
I tried reinstalling Composer and I tried both upgrading and then reinstalling my printer, but no difference.

Not really sure what to do now but...

I'm using Notation Composer 2.6.3

I haven't had the need to use the Format/Setup command (qpgs) for a while.

From what I can see, the quarter note you are trying to change to a half note is in the wrong place to give you the end result you're looking for.

In the "Format" menu, select "Display Pitch names in note heads".
