Sherry, thank you for your quick response ... what we have done is record a vocal track only with ACID PRO 6, 'rendered' it as an mp3, converted the mp3 to midi using "Digital Ear" software, and then...

Notes not right
I have not been getting successful results with Notation Composer ...
as a test I played my digital keyboard (which is tuned A = 440) and recorded "Merrily we roll along" in the key of 'C' ... ...

In sequence:
1. XP
2. DELL PC
3. Creative Sound Blaster Audigy
4. Default Midi Device player is SB Audigy Synth A (DF00)
I do not have any problem with other midi players - Windows Media...

I am using 'Digital Ear' to create the midi file, which as I mentioned in the other post, contains only the melody line ... Perhaps...

Thanks Sherry ... Let me explain what I am doing. I have created a music file that has only the melody line of a song. That has been processed with Notation and I have produced a 'lead sheet'....

Changing from one staff to another
I have just begun using Notation ... the first song I have entered displays in bass clef ... is there a way to transpose from bass clef to treble clef in Notation?
