Correcting a note by dragging and dropping

I have another notation program that is not up to Notation Composer standards that allows me to correct a note by placing my cursor on it and dragging it up to either the line above it or the space above it. This would be a great thing to add to Notation Composer. How about it?

It's already there :) If it's not working for you, the option may be turned off (it should be "on" by default). You can fix that by doing the following:

1. Open any file.
2. Click on a note, which puts a "Note" item on the menu bar.
3. Click on the "Note" menu item, and at the bottom of the command list you'll see "Enable dragging of note pitches". Make sure that is checked - if it's not, click it to turn it "on".

Now when you click on a note, it will be selected and you can drag it up/down to change the pitch of the note.

ttfn,
Sherry

Sherry,
Thanks for the information. It works beautifully. Now I can use Notation Composer directly. I edit my music with Notation Composer and bring in my rough ideas from Cubase 6 by exporting my work as a midi file.

Sincerely,
