Incorrect chord transcription with Composer
 

I've been a Notation user for many years, Musician first, later I switched to Composer. A while ago I upgraded my Composer to version 2.6 (I don't recall what my previous version was). Later I noticed that transcribing guitar chords works quite different than it used to. First it takes much longer than before (several seconds), it used to take less than one second. That's not really an issue but unfortunately the result is not correct from time to time. Wrong chords may be displayed and the chord change may be at the wrong time, displaced by one note or even half a measure.
In order to find out what goes wrong I've erased all other instruments but the guitar - the result was as wrong as before anyway. Beyond my understanding - you can see the correct notes and the wrong chord name in corresponding locations at the same time!
Now I gave Composer 3 a try: Chord transcription works the same way as in Composer 2.6 - not correct.
Can anybody help?

thanks for bringing up this issue. I respond to your English post because more people may read it.

Sorry for our late feedback. We did a deep dive into the chord detection mechanism and confirm your observation that with the chord detection redesign which was done with version 2.6 in 2010, the chord detection actually became worse in some situations compared to previous versions. In Composer 3 (current release 3.0.1) this software is the same.

All I can say as of now, that we are going to address this subject especially and will fix it. I unfortunately cannot confirm that with the next software distribution the corrections will be available but I promise that we will do our best (being a guitar player I am not satisfied with the current chord transcribtion results either :().

We are going to inform you here in the forum as soon as the fixes will be available.

auch wenn es mir im Moment nicht viel weiter hilft, trotzdem vielen Dank für die Auskunft!
Ich weiß jetzt wenigstens, dass da was nicht ganz richtig läuft und dass es nicht an mir liegt. :)
