Transposing Only One Clef Line

I have some midi music that has the Conductors score showing in only two treble clef lines. How do I transpose the bottom treble clef into a bass clef and at the same time lower it an octave.
Or to simplify the quetion how do I transpose a bass or treble clef line without the accompanying treble or bass line also being transposed?
Thanks, Russ

Re: Transposing Only One Clef Line

Howdy,

To move the notes (actual pitches) of a staff down (or up) and octave you can (1) select the notes of the staff using the Staff Select button (in Window view) then (2) press "P" (for "pitch") and the Page Down button on your keyboard. (octave up is Page Up).

Enjoy :)
Sherry
