Metronome Volume

I can`t hear the Met. beat over the music volume. I know there is a way listed by clicking Ctrl + met. icon and increasing the Vol. in the Percussion box but it seems to make no difference. I can get a bit more vol. out of the Computer metronome but it is still too low. Russ

Re: Metronome Volume

Howdy,

To have the metronome sound louder relative to the music, there are a couple of things you can do.

1. In Perform/Metronome Setup, make sure the "Use MIDI Device" button is checked, and then set the loudness for the different beats at something quite high (127 being the loudest).

2. When you're playing the song, slide the volume control on Musician or Composer's menu bar to the left, which will lower the song volume relative to the metronome. In doing this, you may need to turn your computer's speaker or headphone volume level up a bit.

Have fun!
Sherry
