Is there a way to ensure that,

Is there a way to ensure that, if an entire piece is transposed, that any staff(s) used solely for KS control do not get transposed as well i.e. is there a user settable attribute for these "KS-only" staffs to make them immune from the effects of transposition options?
I recall Mark you mentioned designing a method to avoid using extra staffs for KS - but in the meantime kind of thing ... :-)
Thank you.

Hello John, Good question.

Hello John,

Good question. A future version of Composer (or Composer Pro) will have better KS support to avoid this problem. In the mean time, create a second staff with the KS events. Assign that staff to the same MIDI channel as the staff with the notes. Then, if you transpose the entire song, go back and select all of the notes in the KS staff, and type NumPad + or - so many times to undo the unwanted pitch change for the KS events. That's not a pretty work-around, but it isn't a whole lot of trouble, I hope. I already implemented the KS support a long time ago, but the feature just hasn't surfaced yet in Composer.

Cheers
