How to number the first measure?

Is it possible to number the first measure? Enabling every measure for Frequency of Measure Numbers does not display a 1 for the first measure though it does show a 2 for the second measure.

Why number the first measure when it's obvious? I'm documenting squeezebox layouts and using measure numbers to correspond to buttons. Displaying the numbers starting with 2 brings up the question, is that the 1 button?

Hi,

If you can't get a measure number for measure 1, how about using Free Text to place a number similar to the measure numbers?

I hadn't thought of that approach. I suppose I could create a template (or the like) with a 1 in the right location to avoid having to add the free text for the first measure for each keyboard.

Thanks for the tip.
