Some songs i have just repeat and repeat. I'm wondering if I can just replace them with the repeat sign, or maybe just delete them. It's kinda a waste of ink IMO. :P

so how do you delete certain measures/replace them with the repeat sign?

Howdy Gary, To remove measu

Howdy Gary,

To remove measures and then have Musician (or Composer) repeat them during playback:

1. Use the Measure/Remove (delete) measure command, and specify which measure(s) you want to remove.

2. After you have the file trimmed down, you can select the barline(s) you want to change into repeats, and simply click the appropriate repeat barline (either beginning or ending) in the palette toolbar. Notation products will play the repeat as notated.

3. If you want more repetitions during playback, you can edit the Perform/Edit repetition instructions" dialog, to specify exactly how you want the song to play.

Have fun!
Sherry
