Page layout does not adjust to font size change
 

As I have some singers with poor eyesight I often have to produce a second version of a song with the lyrics at a larger font size, whilst also hiding the chords and accompaniment, i.e. just melody line and lyrics.

In the previous version of Composer the page layout has always adjusted automatically after I have used "Format .. Font Size" or "Layout - Increase overall font size".

However in Composer 3.0.1 it appears that there is no automatic adjustment of layout if there are more than four verses of lyrics - though so far I have only tried with two songs which each have 5 verses.

What happens is that the font size changes but the position of the lyric line does not so that the lyrics overlay the staves.

I attach two songs, both created under the previous version of Composer, which show this behaviour.

Perhaps this is related to the other multiple verse lyric problem that I have reported previously?

Any chance of a response soon on this issue as I have some new songs coming up very soon? I have to start work shortly on our choir Christmas concert - really!

Hi Tim,

I replied to you via email - sorry for forgetting to post here as well.

I do apologize for the inconvenience, and it is written up for fixing. Until we can get that out in a release, though, please do feel free to use 2.6.3 for these formatting issues. If you need to reinstall that (ie. you need the installation file) please contact us at support@notation.com You can have both versions installed at the same time, you just can't use both simultaneously.
