Pitch names in Noteheads

Are the little circles with the letters in them part of a particular font or are they a built-in graphic? If they are part of a font, I can edit that font to make the noteheads look a littls more professional and closer to what actual noteheads look like (i.e. Alphafonts, etc.)

Thanks,
Quintin Stephens

Hi Quintin,

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe the "Easy note" noteheads are a built-in graphic rather than part of the Harmony.ttf font that is installed with our programs.

ttfn,
Sherry

Well, bugger, I was all excited that I'd finally found an elegant solution that didn't cost me $600 for Finale or Sibelius. I was hoping to do some quick font editing (which I do a lot of) and come out with professional-looking alpha-notes. This is the ONLY software out there that gives this "Easy Notes" functionality right from the start and doesn't cost an arm and a leg...definitely a help for us Special Needs parents trying to adapt the world to our kids.

Thanks for your reply!

Quintin
