"Afternoon Delight" was written by Bill Danoff of the "Starland Vocal Band" in 1976. The single reached Number One on the Billboard Hot 100. This is pretty close to a simple reduction of that piece. There are several places with long sustained notes, but I thought changing that would break the character of the piece.
