The Essence of my Search

1 Attachment(s)
A heartfelt GREETINGS to all, It is near to Christmas, after Hanukkah, in the Month of Jumada al-Akhirah and beyond that. . .New Years day. And, For the effort of Inclusion. . .Peace Be With Us All.

That, out of the way, ;) I want everyone who sees and hears this Forum to know that I really appreciate the opportunity to share my rambling thoughts through this venue that allows me to express the confusion that is my musical ethos. If one was to backtrack to my early submissions, one might find a jumbled mass of weird and crazy ditties, that were bouncing around in my head, demanding a way to organize and set me free of the torture of my own mind. Well, I am better now. I think I have found the spigot that releases my pain and the agony of my meager intellect.

Enough said. . . this, then, is my gift of Gratitude to you all (tortured in your own minds or free) during this Season of Giving. I hope this Thread expresses the Essence of my Search for Peace. . .for us all.
Also: I'm trying something NEW! I have the UN-copyrighted .WAV version available to be played on any device that will play it. Just send your request back by comment, and I will freely E-mail you the version. Enjoy

Re: The Essence of my Search

Hello, Jeffrey:

Shalom aleichem, in keeping with the season.

A little klezmer meets ZZ Top for Christmas! :)

My clarinets always want a 10 bar rest after 20 bars, so I don't know if they'd take this one on.

However, lots of fun and it sets me up in a Jingle Bells mind-set for the morning.

All the best.

David

Re: The Essence of my Search

DJ,
Thank you for your kind reply.
I hoped that the melody was compatible with and in the range of a Clarinetist. I do not know a clarinetist personally, so I just wrote what was in my head. . .but, it was clearly a clarinet. I hope I did the instrument justice.
Also, "Klezmer meets ZZ Top" was priceless. :D
I always hear a mix of genres in my musings and have NEVER been able to isolate them. . .lends itself to the Crazy, originality of songs and melodies that I could not seem to sort out before. . . now, I don't even try.
And finally, SheElohim yevarach otha and yours, As I have been blessed by him, always.

Now, take a 10 Bar rest!
