Shifting the position of a section, etc

If I played and recorded a song, with a section, starting at the wrong beat, can Notation Musician be used to shift the position to correct that portion to start at the correct beat.

For example, the line of 'Twinkle, twinkle little star' in the song, should start at beat 1 and extend for 2 measures. If I start this line wrongly at beat 3, of say measure 1, it may end at beat 2 of measure 3.

How could I shift this whole line so that it would start at beat 1 and extend for 2 measures as it should be.

Thanks for inputs.

Regards,
Shho

Hi,

Yes - in Staff Symbols/Barlines, you'll see a tool in the tool palette (second button from the left) for shifting the barlines. Click the button, then click the mouse in the location where you want the barline to be, and everything to the right of it will shift to accommodate the change of the beginning point.

ttfn,
Sherry
