Look at this screenshot:

The C major chord, which I'm making an upper voice, has shifted too far to the right (does it even need to shift at all?) The G note is played at the same time as the chord (I know that G is part of the chord, but even if it wasn't, it still would have this problem), but it looks like it is played before the chord. This will cause problems for sight-readers like me. After using this a few months, this is the only major bug in Notation Composer for me since it see it very often (because I transcribe like this all the time). Please fix this in future updates. I don't want to resort to another program, because I like this one a lot.

Hi,

Can you please either post here or send to me at support@notation.com this snippet of your file?

Thanks!

I've attached the notation file. Here is a screenshot showing more of this, indicated by the word "Here". This problem is in almost every other measure of my transcriptions.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply - I'd replied earlier but must have lost it in the shuffle of multiple windows :o

I've written up the issue of these particular notes not allowing a stem both for upper and lower voicing. I know that some of these are bug issues, but some (eg coincidental notes with whole notes) are aesthetic issues, and different notation "experts" differ on how those should be notated.

Sorry for the inconvenience in your transcriptions at this time.

ttfn,
Sherry
