Realtime recording percussion

I've encountered a problem recording on a single line percussion staff.

What I did:

1) I've recorded a percussion track on a normal 5 line staff.

2) I've split it into single percussion staffs with one line

3) I've tried to re-record the bass drum on one of these staffs

4) When finished I got the attached error message and no new notes were added.

Clearing the staff manually before recording didn't change the behavior.

Is this a bug or isn't it allowed to record on single line staffs?

I was able to reproduce the bug about recording into a one-line drum staff. And I was able to fix it quickly.

The fix for this bug will be in version 2.6.3, which will be released probably within 7 to 10 days.

Thanks for this excellent bug report! It is a model for how a good bug report can help the developer (me) quickly understand the problem and fix it, rather than spending a lot of time trying to just understand and reproduce the problem. Thanks!
