Version 3.0.4 was released on February 13th, 2016. Version 3.0.4 is a pure maintenance release where bugs are fixed which for certain PCs were blocking.
If you have not experienced issues in version 3.0.3 in the areas below, there is no need to update to 3.0.4. See detailed corrections below:
Blocking issues
Broken ASIO drivers of certain other software programs cause a program crash on startup
Norton virus scanner randomly deletes the program exe file
Installation improvements
Allow installations on very old PC hardware
Installation on Russian Windows sometimes fails
Trial versions do not install on certain PCs
Better advice messages during installations on Mac and Linux PCs
Log file names changed to Notation_Installation_LOG.log, Notation_Software_LOG.log
Minor bug fixes
PDF export on certain old PCs is black
Printing with offset page numbers
Several bug fixes in the Device Configuration Manager
Program does not properly terminate in very rare race conditions
Service improvements
Exception Handler improvements
Tracing and dump improvements for a better service
