In 2015 we successfully launched two releases of the version 3 product suite (versions 3.0.2 and 3.0.3). Each of these contained not only bug fixes but many new features as well (for details see www.notation.com/WhatsNew.php (http://www.notation.com/WhatsNew.php).)
In January 2016 we plan to release 3.0.4 which will contain only a few bug fixes in the installation software area. These bug fixes cover installation issues for very rare PC configurations. Hence, an update from 3.0.3 is not mandatory if you have already successfully installed your licensed software. We decided on this step because of the high usage of Player 3 since its launch with 3.0.3 in October 2015.
The support of version 2 ended on Nov. 30th, 2015. A version 2 license can still be upgraded to version 3 at the discounted upgrade price. We will offer this discounted upgrade option until the end of 2016. We have started a project to use Notation Software on Android tablets. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but the first results are very promising. As for previous projects we will report the status in our forum.
