Notation Software Synth not detected

After a major cyber attack, I have reinstalled W7, reinstalled all programs, upgraded to W10 and upgraded to NC 3.0.3. I have lost the Notation Software Synth. NC seems ok otherwise.

I have reinstalled NC. The following .png file shows my Configuration.

Hi Herbert,

Depending on where in that series of unfortunate events the installation of Composer came, might explain the loss of the synth. Also, upgrading from Win 7 to Win 10 typically requires a brand new installation. If you need to do that, please contact us at the helpdesk at support@notation.com

Herbert, thanks for the report.

Sherry, that should work. The design is that an update to Windows 10 should be possible from the backup. The "Notation Software Synth" is alway initialized and should not end in a state "Not Detected".

Herbert, I will touch base with you directly to find out.
