"Twilight Time" was written in 1944 by Morty Nevins, Al Nevins, and Artie Dunn. I have arranged this song in Ab, which is a tough key. My goal is to keep the Soprano part as low as it can be and not be ridiculous. Cynthia's parents don't like really high notes (Dad is 90, Mom is 86), so we try to cater to that fact. Fortunately, Composer allows you to easily change keys to suit your individual situation and your instrument(s).

The melody line is modified from the original, which has quite a few large interval skips. Over the years, I have heard quite a few performers sing it the way I have notated it, and that is our choice also.

If you would like to see the lyrics, type qsl. If you would like to see the chords, type qscn.
