simile symbol

Hi... i can't find anywhere the simile symbol... ill probably buy notation composer after finding it...

any tips?

I'm afraid there is no "simile" (bar repeat or beat repeat) function. As I understand Mark's philosophy, he has created a traditional, formal notation product, and things like simile symbols are more shorthand ideas, such as one would use when writing out a score by hand and you want to save yourself from writer's cramp.

Copying and pasting is very easy, though, so the need for such shorthand symbols is largely alleviated.

Don't let that stop you from using Notation products, though. You'll find they have many advantages.
