Hi friends,
Here is a powerful little video, by one of my favorite authors Oliver Sacks (check our his book Musicophilia) demonstrating the deep-seated connection we have with music.

I would encourage you that if you have a facility nearby and have the means (an instrument and/or your voice are all you need) to do so, make some music at a nursing home or assisted living facility near you. I know they're using iPods in the video, and that is powerful as you can see, but playing live music for these folks is good both for them and for you ;) (I know, because I do this myself.)
