Hi all.

Is there a plan for a German langauge version or a german language pack in near future?

Hi,

We do plan to better support language localization, but that won't happen for a while. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sherry

Did you ever think of using 'the power of the crowd'?

As a user of several german forums and/ or blogs for musicians, I never noticed this software until I somehow stumbled upon a more or less hidden link. Even the german edition of Wikipedia does not list Notation as a source of notation software.

I could imagine that there are german speakers out there who would be willing to help you to translate the software for a handfull of dollars and would even like to give german support within this forum free...

That is a good thought. The main bottle-neck there would be getting it into the software.

Please feel free to spread the news - I myself don't speak nor write german, so we're happy to have others who are fluent to tell others in their native languages. I'd be afraid what might translate if I tried to write up something :)

We'd be happy to have folks using the forum in other languages and having other users help out. That's what "community" is all about :)
