Hi friends,
After you log in, you can see where there are new posts using two quick features. You can either
1. Click on "New Posts" in the menu listing, or
2. Take a quick look at the icons in the far-left column of each forum listing (eg. "Pointers for using the Notation Software forum") when you log in. The different icons and their meanings are shown in the "Icon Key" at the bottom left of the page.
If you want to receive email notifications of new posts, you can "subscribe" to a forum or just individual threads. You can also set whether you receive instant email notifications, or just a once-per-day (or week) update email. The default is "Instant email notification."
To read more about any of these options, click on "FAQ" in the menu bar, and use the "Search" function to find out more.
