Hello Everyone,
Beta release #3 of Composer version 1.1 is now ready at www.notation.com/ComposerBetaRelease.htm (http://www.notation.com/ComposerBetaRelease.htm)
This might be the last beta release before the final release of Composer 1.1, scheduled for a few days from now.
The fixes and improvements, going from beta release #2 to #3, are:
General user interface.
The buttons in the main toolbar flickered. The metronome button sometimes misreported whether the metronome was on or off.
Parts.
The Prepare Piano Reduction command incorrectly deleted the staves that were replaced with the piano reduction.
Instrument sound changes.
Mid-track instrument sound changes (MIDI program changes) sometimes were not displayed in the score, or could not be edited.
Help / documentation.
The Help documentation has been brought up-to-date with most of the changes in Composer between versions 1.0 and 1.1. The patch does not include the updated Help documentation. If you want the updated version of the Help documention (which is recommended), then re-install the entire beta release rather than use the patch.
