I wrote this song a couple months ago, and used my new Midinotate Composer to note it. I sent the sheet music to my sister, and she was able to play it on her keyboard. So, I think we have a 'keeper' Mark! I'm having a lot of trouble getting used to playing with the metronome. The song doesn't sound that great with just one note, but if you can add the chords with it, is is really pretty...especially with the English horn soloist, strings and flutes. Thanks everyone for your help and encouragement. Gracie

Hello Gracie,

This is a very nice tune, with an American folk quality. It's definitely a keeper.

The problem with the metronome might be that it is assigned to a MIDI device with a delay. Right-click the metronome button, and then either assign it to the "computer beep sound" or else make sure that it is not assigned to the Microsoft GS Wavetable Softsynth device. Then try re-recording the song.

Cheers
