I don't imagine this will sound very good in GM, so I made a recording of the instruments I used when I wrote it. I put the mp3 on www.soundclick/mgjacobs , a little while ago.

Those instruments are:

Sinfonia violin. I don't know where this font came from, or if "sinfonia" was it's original name. If anyone wants a copy, I'd be happy to send it.

The clarinet is from a bank called "For Classic Music." I like it for this piece because of its (maybe too) mellow sound.

The alto sax, the tenor sax, the trombone, the piano and the vibraphone are all GUGS 1.4 instruments. The piano and vibes are the wet versions and the trombone is the trombone2.

The arco bass is from the Magic SF bank. The pizzicato base is from the Soundsite bank.

The GM version is here:

Howdy MG,

I just finished listening to your recorded version, and I think I could distinctly hear some hushed conversation, some sashaying across a dance floor, and some moonlight walks in there. Great stuff - I'm sure that Sara is smiling http://www.notation.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif
