Here's a piece I just finished, it's a Jazz prelude. I actually plan on writing a set of 24 preludes, in every major and minor key, just like Bach or Chopin. The only exception is that mine will all be in a Jazz or Blues style. Here's the first that I've finished, in F minor.

Howdy Daniel,

Very cool concept, and a very cool piece to start with! I've just saved it under your name (which was already there) into a new folder named "Piano preludes" http://www.notation.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif I'll be anxious to hear the other ones as well. What a great project!

ttfn,
Sherry

Hi Daniel
Real cool jazzy indeed ! Do I hear some Dave Brubeck influences ?
I also started a new folder named Jazz Preludes by Daniel.
Please keep it coming.
Regards
Djim

That's a good start! I found myself wishing that there'd been a development section then I went back and read--it's a _prelude-! (listen first, read later, that's me these days...)

Good stuff, keep going! Only 23 to go! ;)
