Drum sound changes

Hi,
I have some music (Lollipop by the Chordettes) in which I've transcribe the actual pitches. I don't, however, want the drum track pitch to change but it does.

Before I did the transcription, the drum track played as a piano so I changed the channel to 10 and set the sound to to synth drum. When I then transcribed actual pitches, the initial drum sound changes to a bass drum instead of the snare sound I wanted. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi Pat,

Be sure to have the Drum staff set as a "Drum Instrument" (lower left of the Staff Setup dialog for the staff). If it is set as a Drum Instrument, then the pitches won't be transposed if you change the key of the piece.
