I altered a midi file with MidiNotate. I had changed the key signature, deleted a few measures and a few notes. When I play the altered file all the way through then I can't get it to play from the beginning. I think it has to do with the fade out. I think it has lowered all of the volume levels. It shows it playing you just can't hear it. The original unaltered file doesn't do this. Is this a bug with the 4.0 version? I have just ordered the free updated version. Is it fixed in the latest version? Could it be something else?

Thanks Pauletta

Paulette,

Sorry for my late reply. I just discovered that the forum software was not alerting me to new forum messages.

If you happen to see this message, please send me the MIDI file in question to markwa@notation.com.

Cheers
-- Mark

Thank-you Mark but I must have just had a bad disk or corrupted file. I reload on a new disk and it didn't happen anymore. That made me very happy.
