Hi, Is it possible to easily replay from a fixed bar position? I use Key P and double click to start from point X which is fine, but if I want to play again from X I have to repeat the process. It's not much effort - but if doing it a lot I thought it'd be nice to have a quicker way. Maybe a double "click" of the space bar? thanks -John |

Howdy John, There's not specific quick setting to repeatedly playback from a given location after stopping playback for the first iteration. There are a couple of workarounds, though, besides what you're doing above. 1. Just hit the Space bar to begin playback, and mouse-click in the score where you want to hear. You can skip around in the score where ever you want using this method. 2. If you're really hammering on a particular section, you can use the "Performance/Practice" setup, and just set the practice loop beginning at the measure you want to start at. Set it for "0" lead-in measures. Then all you'll need to do is hit "Alt/Space bar" together (they're right next to each other on the computer keyboard) for the playback to start at that measure. "Space bar" again will stop playback, just as usual. Enjoy! Sherry |

Hi Sherry, Thanks for the info. I use 1. quiet often. I can see that 2. will do the job but does take a bit more setting up if one is to use this feature a lot I think. A candidate for the "request feature list" perhaps? If so, be interested to hear for users what single key would be best to use. I think my original suggestion of a double space bar press maybe be worth a thought as it's always easy to find while looking at the score / keyboard etc. regards -John |
