Hi everyone,Im quite new to this so please bear with me. Yesterday I added lyrics to a midi file and every thing was fine. Today I can't get any sound, what have I done wrong. I have checked everything, I think. The computer isn't at fault because I have just played a Midi file in it. Any advice would be great......Regards Ron

Howdy Ron,

Which product, and which version of it, are you trying out? I'm asking because we found that the new Windows Media Player 11 specifically resets your sound card's MIDI volume to 0 after you close WMP. When we released version 2.0, Mark made adjustments so that the sound card MIDI volume would be restored on opening any Notation product. So, if you've gotten an older version of our products (such as MidiNotate Musician or MidiNotate Composer), you'll want to get the latest version from www.notation.com/Download.htm to try out. The newer versions also have lots more cool features :-)

If you do have the latest version (2.1.2, which you can check by using "Help/About"), then that's another ball of wax altogether. Do let us know if that's the case, and we'll dig a bit more :-)

ttfn,
Sherry
