MidiNotate Composer Pro is newest in Notation Software's line of MidiNotate music software products. MidiNotate Composer Pro includes all of the features of MidiNotate Composer, and adds extra MIDI sound editing capabilities.
Most importantly, MidiNotate Composer Pro includes a MIDI event list view, in which you can view and edit the exact details of any MIDI event, including tempo, any controller, pitch bend, RPN (registered parameter number) and NRPN (non-registered parameter number). As in MidiNotate Composer, you can conveniently edit the details of the MIDI performance via piano roll notation, MIDI velocity vectors, and MIDI graphs. In the Pro version, you can also edit the numeric details in a visually appealing table. The MIDI event list view is highly integrated with the score view and MIDI graphs, so that you can easily see and hear the correspondence between the notation, the graphcs, and the MIDI event numeric details.
Composer Pro also includes unique features for editing keyswitches (KS) and mid-track channel changes. These features are especially designed for use with sound libraries such as the Garritan Personal Orchestra (GPO).
All of the above features are included in the current beta release of Composer Pro.
Additional features that are tentatively planned for the first release of Composer Pro are: MIDI SysEx (system exclusive) support and MIDI clock synchronization. The MIDI SysEx feature is used for saving and restoring the configuration of an external MIDI device.
