Howdy, We do not host files for guitar tablature. You may find some websites of interest for guitar in our MIDI directory, on the guitar page at http://www.notation.com/MIDI-Guitar.php. Hello Vishal, How is it that you need realtime micro-pitch tuning of notes? Note, with Composer you can do real-time punch-in recording of pitch bend. That works only if you're using a MIDI device that has no significant sound delay. Real-time punch-in recording of pitch bend is explained somewhere deep in the Composer User Guide, if I remember correctly. If you try it, you might be the first user to ever have tried it besides myself many years ago. (Some Composer features just never get used.) Hi, Vishal: Offhand, I don't see that MidiOx has any specific method of dealing with microtuning. However, using the power of midi Control Change messages and Registered Parameter Numbers, you can work around it: Check out http://www.midi.org/about-midi/table3.shtml At the bottom, it has some examples of how to set up a midi system exclusive message to handle channel fine and coarse tuning. MidiOx, of course, has the ability to handle sysex quite well. Some experimenting should show you if that's going to work for you. Good luck. Hello DJ, Markwa, Sherry, Thanks for your response. Well, for playing Old Indian Scales, i need to write a converter for real time Pitching of notes so that i can use any Midi Keyboard to play the Old Indian Scales. One of my friend's father has developed a hardware instrument for this and now i want to find what can be done digitally. Please visit http://www.22shrutiharmonium.com/ for more information. I know that are Midi softwares like www.justonic.com for this purpose however i wanted to write something very simple in MIDI of my own. Seems that will have to experiment with Midi Ox a lot  . I dont know. I visited the link http://www.midi.org/about-midi/table3.shtml that you gave. It talks about RPN values for channel fine tuning and coarse tuning. Seems it wont work for individual note tuning. Because my requirement is not for the whole channel. Its for individual note. Thanks, vishal. | ||

Hello Vishal, MIDI pitch bend adjustments apply to all of the notes assigned to a MIDI channel. This is the MIDI specification. You can work around that MIDI limitation by assigning voices to separate channels, where each voice only "sings" one note at any given time. Cheers -- Mark | ||

You can find the directory at http://www.notation.com/MidiFiles.php?parent=Download and peruse the site listings, and perhaps find your tune that way.
