It is not necessary to register in this forum to view or add messages.
The main advantages of registering in this forum are: (1) you can request email notifications of replies to your messages, and (2) the forum will keep track of what messages you have reviewed so that you can readily find only new messages that you have not yet reviewed. You will receive email notifications of your own posts and replies to your posts, as well as notifications of "Announcements from the Notation Developer" by default. You can change those settings in your "User Profile" when you register, or any time you log in to the forum.
