There does not appear to be a way of increasing the size of either the instrument names or the measure numbers on printed parts. This would make the finished music more legible for orchestral players.

Hello Pete,

To change the font size of instrument names and measure numbers, use the Text Fonts command in the Part menu. You can set distinct font styles and sizes for several types of "objects" including instrument names, measure numbers, chord names, and rehearsal marks. For many types of objects, you can additionally override the default font style and size, such as for lyrics and "free text". However, for instrument names and measure numbers, the font size you specify in the Part / Text Fonts dialog box will be applied to all occurrences of instrument names and measure numbers.

Cheers

Dear Mark:

Thanks to your wonderful product,
I am very much enjoying the MN Musician (Composer also),
using as a 'Karaoke' when I play along with a saxophone.
However, it would make the lyric or text more attractive and easy to follow if the color of text font could also be changed.

Hello Kee-Chan Moon,

I'm pleased that you are enjoying MidiNotate Musician and Composer.

To change the color of the lyrics, using the Playback Highlighting Options command in the View menu.

Sincerely,
Mark

Hi, Mark:
Thank you for your prompt reply.
But I mean lyric or free text editing with fixed color font,
not hi-lighting color change during playback.

Hello Kee-Chan Moon,

Now I understand your question. MidiNotate does not have an option to change the color of the lyrics and free text. I will add this option in a later version of MidiNotate. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cheers
