Is there a way to only print out one instrument instead of the whole group in a tune?

Hi, Pete:

Both Composer and Musician support the creation and printing of separate , multiple parts for a piece.

The new 2.0 version actually automatically creates the parts for you, as well as allowing you to create custom parts. The latest betas for both Musician and Composer are available here:

http://www.notation.com/MidiNotateBetaRelease.htm

In Composer 1, set up your parts from the items in the Parts menu, then select Print Parts under the File menu.

Good luck.

David
