Mark, Nice job on Composer Beta... I think that the new interface is going to be very much better. I particularly like the idea of using tabs to access various aspects of a project, but I would suggest one minor change. I would recommend that you reverse the direction of the text on the vertical tabs for the song on the left side. I *think* that publishing standards would have it going the other direction, although I cannot find the specific rule at the moment. But, for one example, note the way Adobe Reader labels vertical tabs. I notice this sort of thing because I had the convention for labeling the vertical axis of graphs pounded so hard into my head in college. Do it the wrong way, and you would automatically get an F... It still just leaps out at me :-) Best regards

Hello Don and Daniel, I agree that the tab text is oriented 180 degrees wrong. That's the way I felt about it the first time I saw it in Office 2003, which is the model for Composer's new u/i. I'll try to fix this. Cheers -- Mark |
