The current mock-up photograph is somewhat close to what is needed.

This photograph needs to suggest that there is somewhat technical at a computer providing technical support for our music software product.

This photograph should not show a phone, because we currently do not offer phone support.

This photograph should depict:
(1) "technical" and "computer", since this web page is about the technical software support we offer our customers
(2) "helping" or "support"
(3) less importantly, music; it's probably too difficult to find a photograph that does (1) and (2) as well as music.

The current mock-up picture meets the first two criteria pretty well. Many of my customers know that I personally provide product support. I'd want to look a little bit more like a regular guy that this curly long-hair guy, but that's not a big deal.
