Changing the Position of a MIDI Port in the Configuration Window

You can rearrange the order of the MIDI ports displayed in the MIDI Device Configuration Window. This operation has no musical effect. The order of MIDI ports in the window is meaningful only for viewing purposes.

prcarrowTo change the position of a MIDI port in the Configuration Window:

1.In the MIDI Device Configuration Window, select the MIDI port by clicking its name with the mouse.
2.In the Port menu, choose the Move Up or Move Down command.

   While holding down the SHIFT key, type the UpArrowKey or DownArrowKey key.
