Deleting Rests to Extend the Duration of Previous Notes

If you delete a rest that follows a note or a chord, then the duration of that previous note or chord will be extended to fill in the place of the rest.

prcarrow To extend the duration of a note or chord by deleting the rest after it:

1.Select the rest.
2.Hit the DelKey key.
