"Software" is defined as the Notation Musician Trial Version
software program or Notation Musician Full Version software
program, which includes software components installed by the
Notation Musician setup program. By installing, copying, or
otherwise using this Software, you agree to be bound by the terms
of this License Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of
this License Agreement, you must immediately terminate your use
of this Software and you must delete it completely from your
computer system, such as by using the Uninstall option included
in the Windows folder that is installed for Notation Musician,
or by using the Add/Remove Programs option in the Windows
Settings (Control Panel) folder.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE AND TERM
The Software is licensed, not transferred or sold, to you by
Notation Software, Inc. ("Notation Software") or its licensed
marketing agents, and is protected by United States copyright and
intellectual property laws, and the laws of other countries under
international treaty.
The License terminates automatically if you fail to comply with
the limitations described herein. On termination, you must
destroy all copies of Software and its documentation.
(a) Notation Musician Trial Version.
For the Notation Musician Trial Version, Notation Software
grants you to a License to use the Software free of charge
for evaluation purposes, for a period of 30 days.
If you wish to use Notation Musician past the trial period, you
may purchase a full version of Notation Musician. (Visit
www.notation.com for ordering instructions.)
(b) Notation Musician Full Version.
For the Notation Musician Full Version, Notation Software,
Notation Software grants you a license to use the Software for as
long as you use the Software. You may install Notation Musician
on multiple computers within a single household to which you
belong; and members of the same household may share the same
copy of Notation Musician. The copy of Notation Musician may
not be installed on computers outside of the household to which
you belong, except on computers used solely by you at your place
of work outside of the household.
Institutions, such as private or public schools or music studios,
may install Notation Musician on only one computer, unless it
purchases a multiple copy license for use of Notation Musician
on multiple computers within the same institution.

30-day trial period or other limitations of the trial version.
4. NO LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Notation
Software is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or
consequential damages, including, but not limited to damages for
loss of business, loss of revenue or profit, lost or damaged data
or other commercial or economic loss, which arise out of your use
or inability to use the Software. Some states do not allow the
limitation and/or exclusion of liability for incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may
not apply to you.
5. GENERAL
This Agreement represents the complete agreement concerning this
license, and may not be changed except by a signed amendment. If
any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable, such
provision shall be reformed only to the extent necessary to make
it enforceable, and the other provisions shall remain in full

The culmination of more than 12 years of software development, Notation Software's releases of Notation Musician 2.0 and Notation Composer 2.0, and the major upgrade release 2.1 on April 23, 2007, offer everyday musicians engaging ways for making music-both the sheet music and the sound.
