some of the MIDI files were recorded without reference to a metronome,
so that they may sound great, but the MIDI-to-notation transcription will

collection of Christmas and Yuletide sequences. The diversity of contributors
is reflected in the wide variety of styles.
Christmas
Songs - The extensive listing of Christmas
carols, Yule songs, and "folk seasonal" songs at this site come
in a variety of styles. The site is German, although much of it is also
translated in English. The songs are listed alphabetically by title. The
first page has songs beginning in the letters A to L, and includes a link
at the bottom of the page for the M to Z titles. To download the MIDI
for the song (not all songs have a MIDI available), click on the "melody"
(or "melodie") for the song. Clicking the song title will take
you to a page that displays the lyrics, and where you can also download
the available MIDI on this page by clicking on the "melody"
(or "melodie") link.
The
Woodshed - This web page links to a few
separate pages on Martha Decker's site which have a number of traditional
Christmas and Yuletide sequences done in a wide variety of, sometimes
quite original, styles. On the initial page, simply choose one of the
specific Christmas pages you want to check out. Some of the pages have
all the MIDI files available as a ZIP file. To download individual songs,
simply click the music symbol or the filename associated with the song
title.
The
MIDI Parlour Christmas Page -This page
offers Christmas music categorized by various popular styles: Orchestra,
Pop/Jazz, Disco, and Sing-Along. Each MIDI file is in a separate ZIP file.
To avoid the trouble of unzipping, use Notation's File menu Browse Internet
for MIDI Files command, which will automatically download, unzip, open,
and display the MIDI file as sheet music.

collection of simply arranged Romanian Christmas carols not readily available
elsewhere.
