How to Get Your Qualified Free Upgrade to 2.1

How to Get Your Free Upgrade to Musician 2.1 or Composer 2.1
if you purchased Musician or Composer 1.1 or 2.0 on or after July 1, 2006

You are entitled to a free upgrade to Notation Musician 2.1 or Notation Composer 2.1 from MidiNotate Musician 1.1 or 2.0, or MidiNotate Composer 1.1 or 2.0, if you originally purchased it on or after July 1, 2006. If you are qualified to upgrade to version 2.1, please follow the steps on this page to get your free upgrade.

Upgrades to minor releases of the same major release are also free of charge, such as from any version 1.0 through 1.1.6 to 1.1.7, or any version 2.0 through 2.0.4 to 2.1. To download and install a free minor upgrade as a patch, follow the instructions at Free Minor Upgrades rather than the instructions below.

If you wish to upgrade to Notation Musician 2.1 or Notation Composer 2.1 from a version of Musician, Composer, or MidiNotate that you purchased prior to July 1, 2006, or if you wish to upgrade between different members of the Notation product line, such as from Musician to Composer, then please see instructions at How to Purchase a Product Upgrade.

If your current email address is different from the one you used when you originally, purchased the Notation Software product, then it will be necessary for you to now change the email address for your registered copy of the software. When you have done so, return here to enter your current email address.

Step 2:

In order to get your free upgrade to version 2.1, you will need to enter a Download Key in Step 4 below. The Download Key will be sent to your email address.
