Shifting Chord Names to the Right or Left

If a chord name is not located above the note you intend, you can shift the chord name to the right or left, to the next nearest note or chord.

prcarrow To shift a chord name to the right or left to the next nearest note or chord:

1.In Select Mode, select the chord name.
2.In the Chord Name Palette, click the Shift Chord to Right shifting_chord_names_to_ button or Shift Chord to Left shifting_chord_names_to_1 button.

Type SHIFT+RightArrowKey or SHIFT+LeftArrowKey.
