About the Trial Version of Notation Composer

Visit the Notation Users Community Forum discussion on this feature.  Go to the previous page in the Table of Contents.  Go to the next page in the Table of Contents.

To determine whether you are using the trial version of Notation Composer rather than the full purchased version, choose the About command from the Help menu. A window will display the Notation Composer graphics logo and the version number of Composer. This window also displays "Trial Version" if you are using the trial version rather than the full purchased version of Composer.

The trial version of Composer enables you to use the program for 30 days. The trial version offers every feature of Composer available in the full version, including printing and saving files.

With the trial version of Composer you can edit the score and save the work as a Notation (.not) file. If you later choose to purchase the full version of Composer, you will be able to continue work in these saved files.

If you have enjoyed using the trial version of Composer, we hope you will consider purchasing the full version of the software, which removes the 30-day trial period limitation. To purchase the full version of Composer, please see How to Buy Notation Composer.
