Shifting Chord Names to the Right or Left

If a chord name is not located above the note you intend, you can shift the chord name to the right or left, to the next nearest note or chord.

Generate/prcarrow.gif To shift a chord name to the right or left to the next nearest note or chord:

1.      In Select Mode, select the chord name.

2.      In the Chord Name Palette, click the Shift Chord to Right Generate/shifting_chord_names_to_.jpg button or Shift Chord to Left Generate/shifting_chord_names_to_1.jpg button.

Type SHIFT+RightArrowKey.gif or SHIFT+LeftArrowKey.gif.
