Reverting Ornaments to Written-Out Notes Viewing and the Written-Out Performance of Ornaments

Deleting an Ornament

Deleting an ornament removes the performance of the ornament, but preserves the note that was ornamented. This is illustrated in the procedure below.

If you want to remove the ornament symbol, but preserve the performance of the ornament, then use the Convert Ornament to Written-Out Performance command with the Generate/deleting_an_ornament.jpg button or BACKSPACE key, as described in the previous topic, Reverting Ornaments to Written Out Notes.

Generate/prcarrow.gif To delete an ornament:

1.      In Select Mode, select the ornament.
