Automatically Playing Notes When Selected
As you add and change notes, you may find it useful to hear the note pitches. By default, Composer plays a newly selected note or chord, using the instrument sound and loudness (MIDI velocity) that would be used for the note or chord during normal song playback. You can turn off this option so that newly selected notes and chords are not automatically played.
To turn on or off the option to automatically play notes when they are selected:
Toggle the Play Notes When Selected option in the View menu.
OR --
Type "qpsn" for Quick Play Selected Notes.
